Christine Cooper
Christine Cooper is
a member of the Ray of Hope charity knitters in Haslington,
England. Since the group of both machine and hand knitters was
formed two and a half years ago, it has raised £15,000. Cooper
and the group supply Leighton Hospital’s neonatal ward with
all of their needs in baby blankets, clothing, and crib
sheets. The money that they have raised has also gone towards
the hospital’s purchase of a new MRI scanner. The charity’s
name, Ray of Hope, was named after borough councilor Ray
Stafford, who was mayor of Haslington at the time. To contact Christine about Ray of Hope, click here.
