Dalis
Davidson
Dalis
Davidson started out with two lambs fourteen years ago.
She had no idea what to do with all the wool they
produced. Fortunately, she knew some wonderful fellow
shepherds who taught her to dye, spin, and knit. She
started the Dancing Leaf Farm eight years ago, built a
studio on her farm, and now provides hand painted yarn to
many customers, taking inspiration for her colors from the
surrounding countryside. She is involved with a group of
artisans who host three studio tours a year and she also
teaches knitting workshops at a local retreat center. She
enjoys traveling, mountain biking, kayaking, and she of
course takes her knitting wherever she goes.
