Elaine Eskesen
Elaine Eskesen says
her store, Pine Tree Yarns, in Damariscotta, Maine reflects
her flair for the unusual. There she offers spinning classes
with hand dyed roving, a solar dye oven, and a library full of
books for her customers. Her philosophy in teaching new and
curious knitters has been to listen carefully to her
customers, and always keep a good sense of humor. For Elaine,
knitting wools and mixing dyes has been an adventurous, yet
meditative part of her daily life for almost fifty years.
