Luisa Gelenter
Luisa Gelenter’s
travels in Bolivia allowed her to sit down with the Bolivian
women and learn how to hand spin Alpaca on a drop spindle.
When the time came to dye these handspun yarns, she felt they
deserved more than a pinch of powder. “The dye was cast” so to
speak, and so began her great hand-spinning and plant dyeing
adventures. These experiences formed a clear path of
creativity that she now walks down every day.
