Catherine Hinard

Catherine Hinard is an avid and seasoned knitter. She has long been fascinated by the wisdom of knitting and the spiritual aspects of her own knitting practice. She specialized in transpersonal psychology and spirituality while earning a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was also a resident and staff member for seven years at the Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, Massachusetts. Catherine has over twenty years of experience working with textiles, weaving and knitting, and has created groups for women called “Knitting as a Spiritual Path, The Wisdom of the Craft.” She is currently working at Webs Yarn Store in Northampton, Massachusetts.
