E. Anne Mazzotta
E. Anne Mazzotta was
born in Newfoundland in the early fifties. Life was full of
family, friends, and lots of fun in the great outdoors. Her
mother and father continued to run the corner store and sell
fishing supplies while their six children were growing up.
After dating for three years, she and her new husband moved to
his home in New York City, and later to Canton, New York.
While raising three sons and a daughter, Anne received a BA
and MA from St. Lawrence University. After her children
started school, she spent eight years as a nutrition
coordinator with St. Lawrence County Head Start. Presently,
she is poised to begin a new career as a writer. She continues
to enjoy knitting, but declares that she will never be as
skillful as her mother is, who at the age of eighty-five
continues to knit to the great delight of her family.
