Anne McKee was raised on the Canadian prairies. She is a geologist by trade and has knocked rocks from one end of northern Canada to the other. Since there is as much fantasy in science as there is in fiction, her decision to switch from report writing to fiction writing wasn’t difficult. She currently lives with her family in Oakville, Ontario.
